Bone Armchair
The Bone Armchair, created in a limited edition of 12 and exhibited by New York gallery Friedman Benda, is moulded from a mixture of marble and porcelain mixed with resin.
Is this seat taken?
The seating element started life as an art school project to design a new form of seating.
What if this icon become's someting real, life size, something you can touch, sit or relax on.
Imagine a public space (park, field,.....) with fifty someting seats on it. You could ask yourself, are these seats already taken or are they not?
It could be used as indoor as well as outdoor furniture.

Mamma Rocking Chair
The Mamma rocking chair is a tribute by industrial designer Patrick Messier to Sophie Fournier, his life and business partner, for the birth of their first child. When she announced that she was pregnant, she said that she would need a rocking chair. After the couple shopped in vain for a product that met their criteria for aesthetics and comfort, Messier decided to create something new.
Zaha Hadid furniture exhibited in New York
The collection, manufactured by London-based design company Established & Sons, features nine designs, each made of painted polyester resin and produced in limited editions of between six and twelve pieces.
Five of the pieces - called Serif - are shelving designs. The other pieces are Nekton, a cluster of four stools; a lounge chair called Gyre; a chaise called Crest and a cabinet called Swash. Prices for the pieces range between $17,100 and $104,500.

Obelisk
The essentially rectangular forms that make up the body of this piece, have striking angular facets, while the hole thing has a pronounced tilt and is slightly elevated on broad, sturdy formed steel legs.
The generous size, method of construction, and excellent ergonomics provide superb comfort and personal space in both the chair and sofa.
Loopty Loop Loopita
A fabulous concept in on-floor seating that has been designed by a chap called Victor Aleman. The best bit about this, though, is that if you fit a bunch of them together then it looks like Scalextric for the posh. Made of a single piece of red oak and covered with high-density foam it will no doubt be off-the-scale expensive.

Moroso, Italy
Patrizia Moroso, art director of Italian company Moroso, is without a doubt among the best-known design talent scouts of the last two decades. She is constantly looking for extraordinary people with whom she can tackle new projects. Many well-known designers today were young creatives who had just started out in areas other than furniture design – e.g. graphic design, sculpture or even other art forms like the fashion industry – when they first met Patrizia Moroso.

Showtime
Jaime Hayon is the most intriguing figure in new Spanish design. He has energy, talent and a style of his own, which are all distilled into the Showtime collection he has designed for Bd Ediciones de Diseno, the most prestigious Spanish design company. In these contrasts between classicism and modernity, Showtime reflects what had always been the very essence of Bd.
MOORE
MOORE, an armchair with a swivel seat, is a sculpture with a living and enveloping form that immediately makes it an icon. An ample goblet-shaped sear is provided and turns on a base plate thanks to a sophisticated hidden mechanism, both in lacquered nylon on various colour variants ranging from bronze to lead to white. Due to the special properties of this lacquer, it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
