The design is a floor lamp for indoor use within a home environment. The main function is to emit light through various filters to control the proportion of light illuminated. The pattern of the filter was inspired by the idea of fractals of repetitious forms to create the light structure. It is environmentally sound as it is manufactured from white paper cardboard of various thicknesses.
8AM lighting
This desk lamp, called 8AM by its designers, clamps onto your desk, and it looks like its bulb is magically held up by a wire. There's a regular braided electric wire leading to the clamp on the desk, but then coming out the other side is an electric wire that looks the same but that's reinforced just enough to hold up the light bulb at the other end. Alpha Beta
'I took on two fundamental forms, the geometrical and the organics. My design is to blend these two elements into a seamlessly whole composition. The seamless transition should begin from the head to the toe in a flawless manner. So I took the classic shape of the lampshade to represent my geometric performer and the connecting body as the organic performer.
